Ayurveda at Sreenilayam is an incarnation of Ayurveda in its true and authentic spirit. Our center was built in the Nalukettu style of traditional Kerala architecture and according to Vastu for proper flow of energy. It blends both Indian culture and heritage with modern comfort. Rooms are spacious and cleaned daily. Each room has a private bathroom, Western toilet, and a large, comfortable bed.

Dr. Mali is a seasoned Ayurvedic physician with over 37 years of clinical experience in the field of traditional Indian medicine. He is the founder and chief physician of Ayurvedam Sreenilayam, nestled in the serene village of Chathamangalam, along the coast of river cherupuzha Kozhikode, Kerala.Dr. Mali journey in Ayurveda began with a rigorous seven-and-a-half-year Gurukula training at Coimbatore Ayurveda College, where he immersed himself in classical Ayurvedic education under the traditional Gurukulam system. He later honed his practical skills while working with various clinics under The Arya Vaidya Pharmacy (Coimbatore) Ltd.Born into a family deeply rooted in Ayurveda and astrology, Dr. Mali carries forward the legacy of his father, Vaidyapadan Sri Dr. Ramakrishnan, a renowned graduate of Shoranur Ayurveda College.Inspired by the ancient traditional practice, where patients would stay at the Vaidya's (Doctor), home until fully healed, Ayurvedam Sreenilayam was envisioned and built within Dr. Mali's Nalukettu-traditional home premises. Here, patients are welcomed into a warm, serene, healing environment where they eat, live, and rest in the lap of nature under close observation, and care until recovery. This one-of-a-kind space offers holistic Ayurvedic care rooted in authenticity, compassion, and tradition. Dr. Mali emphasizes personalised healing, using locally sourced medicinal herbs, individualized organic diets, and structured lifestyle guidance. His treatments are designed not just to address illness, but to restore balance, harmony, and vitality in every aspect of life.
Beyond his clinical practice, Dr. Mali is a respected teacher of Ayurvedic Tantra and Philosophy, with students from around the world coming to learn under his guidance. He has also conducted Ayurvedic workshops in Lausanne, Geneva, and Moscow, sharing India’s healing philosophy on global platforms.
Dr Namitha earned her Bachelor of Ayurvedic Medicine& Surgery (BAMS) From PNPS Ayurveda Medical College, Kanhangad, Kerala, in 2014 and is registered with the Medical Council. She began her career as a Resident Medical Officer at KMCT Medical college Calicut. After practicing for 1 year as RMO, She joined Ayurvedam sreenilayam calicut, kerala. She also got an opportunity to work under Govt of Kerala at kayanna primary health center where she worked for 6 months. She has been working at sreenilayam for almost 10 years. She has gained her expertise in Panchakarma which is being done at ayurvedam sreenilayam under her supervision and advice. In addition to there expertise she also a yoga TTC from pathanjali yoga center.
